Headshots

This was my first shot at doing some actual headshot photography, and I am pleased with the results but would definitely like to continue doing these. My goal was to go for a shallow depth of field, while having the main parts of the face in focus as they blend back into a softer focus. I wanted the eyes to match with the background or clothing so I tried out a bunch of different locations with all sorts of different lighting. This was shot with all natural light and some reflectors which I am new to. Some of the photos you can tell the light is stronger than others, but I wanted a nice soft light with minimal shadow. I used the reflectors mainly to fill in the shadows and create a more balanced light throughout the photo. All shot with my 80-200mm lens around 135-200mm with ISO ranging from 100-400 on the Nikon D750.
