Ty Poland (1994-Present)

My name is Ty and I am a photographer looking to change the way we see things in our world today. Growing up, I was always into cameras and filming things that I would do, I always wanted to play things back and recreate that moment. I got my first camera in high school but it was really nothing special, I couldn't get that "look" that I wanted. My senior year I thought it might be a good time to get one and see how I like it, so I bought my first DSLR. I loved it, and coming into college I really wanted to learn more about it and how to use it. I wanted to learn what I could do with photography. Finally, after years and years of learning and shooting, doing projects of my own for school, working several different jobs related to photography, I realize I love what I do. It wasn't the photo that mattered, it was how I could express it, how I could make it stand out. What could I do to make this more interesting? More important? No matter what, you can always tell a story through these photos. Meeting new people, traveling to different places and  working for new clients is something that drives me to do what I do and it feels so good to have such a passion for something. I want to create new, modern content that I myself and my clients can enjoy. If you are interested in working with me or getting to know anything else about me, feel free to contact me!
